The United States and British Virgin Islands offers world-class sailing and it's available just minutes away from Stonegarden Cottage's door.  Exploring these gorgeous islands by sail is one of the best experiences you can have in the VI. Charter a boat from Coral Bay or Cruz Bay and enjoy sailing, snorkeling and  scuba at it's best. For BVI sailing, remember to bring a passport.

HIKING

The Virgin Islands National park offers dozens of hiking trails where you can discover ruins, petroglyphs and enjoy native trees and flowers. Two major trailheads are within only a few minutes drive or short walk from the cottage.   Find the old bay rum trees along the Cinnamon Bay nature trail, hike to the top of America Hill and see the breathtaking view of Maho and Francis Bays. There are countless options!

DIVING

There are many reputable companies, for both skin and scuba diving, that will take you to great dive sites both near and far. But you can easily discover our plentiful local reefs on your own with a snorkel, mask and fins (which you can rent on island).  Only 10 minutes from the cottage, you can enjoy gorgeous coral, colorful tropical fish, turtles, rays, and countless other sea life in our warm and clear Caribbean waters.
