"Another Wonderful Stay at StoneGarden"
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
"We've stayed here 3-4 times now and love it more than ever. What I look forward to most is the beautiful view from the deck, the garden path and the garden shower. Thia is wonderful to deal with, and everything is made very easy in planning and getting to the cottage-- this year they upgraded some of the furnishings, windows, etc. and the cottage was always beautiful and comfortable and now has a little extra polish--- and we had some new beach chairs. The old ones were in fine shape, however it was nice to have a variety of heights of chairs to take to the beach-- there are plenty of supplies here, a great kitchen, grill, games, wonderful books about the island and no need for a/c, the breeze and fans make it cool to sleep. I love this place- it's my first choice of accommodation every time we go to St. John and we've stayed at 6 other villas/B&B's, etc. in the past 15 years."

"(The managers) were great! They were both very welcoming and take great pride in the property. They seem to take care of it as if it were their own. I loved how they interacted with our kids and made them feel so at home!
The grounds and paths were lovely! This was a real bonus to the property and a real advantage over other places we’ve stayed/read about....
I can’t thank you enough for sharing your home with us. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. I have already recommended Stonegarden to others who are thinking about planning a trip. St. John is a very special place and I’m blessed to have been there!"

"Thank you for inviting us to your lovely and charming home. I can understand how you decided to raise your family here. From the moment we stepped thru the door and crossed the threshold onto the deck, we could feel our busy divergent schedules slowed and braided into one, based on sand and sun. Thank you for the memories we have made as a family. And as we leave this oasis once again, strengthened and renewed in spirit, we hope to see you again next year, on our 25th anniversary of first stepping onto St. John."

"Our last morning at Stonegarden, sad and beautiful. We were lucky to be back again this year to celebrate our 25th anniversary and to celebrate our first visions of St. John. It was a pleasure meeting you, Thia and Raf, talking about family and your love for this island and your home. Stonegarden is a welcoming treasure, a place to rest our bones from a busy day and recharge for the next. These memories will get us through the tough Pennsylvania winters, and give us hope for new ones.
We hope to see you again, God willing. Until then, remember, when preparing your trip to St. John – bring half the clothes and double the money!"
